Good Lord.

I am simply stunned by the hatred by many people across this country for our President, George W. Bush.

I have either watched, or been directly involved in politics for over 40 years, and I have never, never seen this level of poisonous hatred leveled at a political leader, even during the Watergate era.

I have many political differences with Mr. Bush, as do many people on the right and the left.

But when Jenna and Laura Bush appeared at a book signing yesterday, a whack-job actually STRUCK a young woman in a wheelchair who came to see the First Family.

I can't find the words to express my dismay for the young victim, and her family.

So I shall simply pray for them.
