A shout-out to Seth at Hardastarboard for 'honorable mention' in Sunday's
blog.
"In the Liberals Gone Wild Department, well, you know, there are a few big differences between the political left and the political right in this country that stand out big time.
Our conduct on the starboard side, our demeanor, our sense of civility, our consideration and respect for others’ property are evident. Our mature behavior.
When we conservatives stage a demonstration, what you see for the most part is a bunch of folks showing up in orderly numbers, most of us holding up signs.
When liberals stage a demonstration, it more often than not involves disruptive behavior, bags of feces, graffiti, property damage, vulgarity…
Having made that point, I refer you to a great column by Melanie Morgan that not only describes some of the above portside conduct, but also more than adequately describes the left’s complete lack of respect for those who lay their lives on the line to perpetuate the freedom liberals exploit in order to attempt to deprive us (headscratch here, them too) of it.
Oh, I did mention bags of feces, right? "

Dear Melanie: I’m the mother of a deployed paratrooper who is due home from Iraq late this month. I’m planning to go to Ft Bragg to meet him and found out today that there are families who are unable to afford to come. I have offered to cover airfare for a few out of my airline award miles. Wondering if you or Move America forward could help these folks? Could you broadcast this info and let people know of the need? I’m sure other folks out there have miles and would be willing to use them to book tickets for these families who want to be there when their sons come home but just can’t afford all the expense. If it is at all possible that you could help, please contact me. The need is very short-term as their return dates are scheduled between October 26th and November 3rd.
Bless you for all you do to support our troops. Your show is one of the things that keeps my poor conservative brain sane in this liberal loony-bin of the Bay Area. Susan Mix

The day before the rally, Move America Forward visited with our wounded warriors at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. We brought almost five hundred care packages for the recovering troops.
Just outside the hospital grounds, CodePink (the anti-war far left activists who defaced the Marine Recruiting Center in Berkeley last week) were protesting while these brave men were recuperating.

He insisted he needed nothing-- the 'other guys' on his floor needed our items more than he
did.
But our hero finally settled on a red, white and blue hand-crocheted blanket from a supporter of Move America Forward.
Isn't Private Major Ryan a handsome man?
I'll never forget him. Or any of the others whom I had the honor of meeting at Walter Reed.
They inspire me every day.
These soldiers are always in my prayers.

Folks,
Move America Forward has been alerted to the anonymous blogger who calls himself 'Spockos Brain" --the same coward who began an advertiser boycott against KSFO Radio in San Francisco, myself, Lee Rodgers, and Brian Sussman over a year ago. He is now posting about how I 'incited violence' at the GOE/EaglesUp/VetsforFreedom rally in Washington, D.C. and how I am "calling for violence" at the counter-demonstration against CodePink at the Berkeley Marine Recruiting Center next Wednesday.
This crackpot with a keyboard is fueling the same folks (Media Matters) who attacked Rush Limbaugh over the 'phony soldiers' story two weeks ago.

Deborah Johns, a Blue Star Mom whose son William is standing by for his fourth deployment to Iraq, was defending herself in Washington, D.C.
It is telling that the left continues to back the idea that nobody should protect herself: not America and not a woman attacked by peace protesters with a punch.
Apparently, the Left only feels it is appropriate to strike first, as Al Qaida did on Sept. 11 and as this woman did to Deborah.
