Dave Burge in '08 PDF E-mail

Just when I had moused my way to the end of the Internet, I found out a couple of days ago I skipped a blog.

Man, I HATE it when that happens, because as a card-carrying member of the media with over 30 years experience in narcissism and self-idolatry, there is nothing I love better than lording my superior knowledge over everybody else.

It's a gift.

Back to what's-his-name for President.

Oh yeah, Dave Burge a.k.a Iowahawk.

He's tossing the old Fedora into the ring and has quite the platform for motivating Americans.

Just a sample from his website that you might enjoy reading (despite the fact that it's not all about ME.)

ON IMMIGRATION:

"...I have proposed wacky Road-Runner style misdirection signs on the border that read ESTADOS UNIDOS --This Way!"

FOREIGN POLICY:

"..Ask anyone who knows when sober, Dave Burge has the mature, thoughtful judgement called for in 50-60% of foreign policy situations. These same people will tell you that after 8-10 Jager shots, all bets are off..."

SOLVING SOCIAL SECURITY:

"Free smokes and tequila for the elderly."

Now I ask you, what more can you want from a Presidential candidate in these troubled times when we are debating the serious issues before millions of non-serious people?

Besides, anyone with the ability to conceptualize as thoughtful response to the outbreak of homicidal maniacs populating our newsrooms of the Media, and come up with the correct solutions has my vote.

I may be late to the Dave Burge in '08 bandwagon, but I was busy ordering my Tequila Sunrise and puffing away on my butt.

Go Dave (hiccough)!

Conservatives wondering what went wrong for FDT? PDF E-mail

Many of us who supported Fred Thompson's campaign with it's splashy New Media debut wondered how a true conservative crashed and burned so painfully.

Was it laziness, as the Old Media storyline kept pushing, incompetence as some insiders suggested, or timing as others speculated?

I have been e-mailing my contacts across the country, and reading the Internet all day today sifting through for debris for clues.

This is the most interesting read so far from Pajamas Media.

Here's another fascinating anaylsis at American Thinker.

The New Republic's credibility (officially) in tatters PDF E-mail

It's finally over.

The New Republic is now shamed for printing the lies of someone they should have known was bringing them disgrace.

Only because of the new media, we know now that Scott David Beauchamp is going down in history as a liar, a slanderer, and vicious self-promoter who betrayed the very military and it's men and women who serve honorably.

And at the end of the day, milblogger Matt Sanchez is able to say without satisfaction, "I Told You, So."

And Bob Owens at Confederate Yankee deserves credit as well.

Editor Franklin Foer needs to resign. Or be fired.

Fred's Out, McCain declared frontrunner by Liberal Media PDF E-mail

Yeah, we've all heard the news by now that the party's over for the FredHeads ...and John Edwards and Hillary Clinton are positioning themselves as the best person to defeat Senator John McCain, before any votes have been counted on Tsunami Tuesday.

Whoa Nellie!

Taking off my war-mongering hat --(does my hair still look okay?), I'm predicting a conservative backlash against McCain ...

Let me remind my conservative friends of this friendly photo of the Hildabeast with the war hero.

Those crazy kids are kinda cozy, doncha think?

Do we REALLY want Mr. Moderate as our nominee? Just askin'....
