  • Wisconsin's Walker: American Hero

Those reforms that the unions predicted would sink Wisconsin? They are working. Huzzah, Governor.

One morning last February, Wisconsin governor Scott Walker called his staff into his office. “Guys,” he warned, “it’s going to be a tough week.” Walker had recently sent a letter to state employees proposing steps—ranging from restricting collective bargaining to requiring workers to start contributing to their own pension accounts—to eliminate the state’s $3.6 billion deficit. That day in February was when Walker would announce his plan publicly.
It turned out to be a tough year. The state immediately erupted into a national spectacle, with tens of thousands of citizens, led by Wisconsin’s public-employee unions, seizing control of the capitol for weeks to protest the reforms. By early March, the crowds grew as big as 100,000, police estimated. Protesters set up encampments in the statehouse, openly drinking and engaging in drug use beneath the marble dome. Democratic state senators fled Wisconsin to prevent a vote on Walker’s plan. Eventually, the Senate did manage to pass the reforms, which survived a legal challenge and became law in July.

  • Crack Economics

We know that our fearless leader President Barack Hussein Obama is having difficulty understanding basic Economics - hence the sustained Great Recession of 2008.

The brain tutors at TED have kindly provided a 15 minute tutorial concerning this subject. The marvelous thing about TED is that they make complicated subjects easy to understand.

In this case, they have studied gang and drug leaders to show how economies ACTUALLY work.

  • Rubio Scolds Gingrich

Sen. Marco Rubio scolded Newt Gingrich’s presidential campaign over a Spanish-language radio ad that accuses rival Mitt Romney of being “anti-immigrant”
“This kind of language is more than just unfortunate. It’s inaccurate, inflammatory, and doesn’t belong in this campaign,” Rubio told The Miami Herald when asked about the ad.
“The truth is that neither of these two men is anti-immigrant,” Rubio said. “Both are pro-legal immigration and both have positive messages that play well in the Hispanic community.”
Rubio’s sharp rebuke comes a day after he subtly corrected Gingrich for comparing Romney to former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, branded by conservatives as a turncoat who left the party before Rubio beat him in 2010.
The criticisms from someone of Rubio’s stature in the Republican Party comes as polls show a near-even race, albeit with Gingrich surging.
Rubio plans to stay neutral in the race. He’s a potential running mate whom both candidates would love to have on the ballot. And he’s gaining iconic status among many national Republicans who see him as a face of the future in a nation that’s growing more Latino.
Miami, Rubio's hometown, is a key battleground. The candidates are all wooing the Cuban-exile community here, which accounts for nearly three-quarters of the Republican vote in the largest county of the nation’s largest swing state.
Already, about 54,000 early ballots have been cast in Miami Dade, where nearly three-quarters of the Republicans are Hispanic.
Rubio’s statement was fueled by the explosive, partisan debate over immigration, a key issue this election season as both parties aggressively court the Hispanic vote.
Democrats and liberals have tried to paint the Republican candidates as anti-immigrant or even anti-Hispanic for opposing legislation such as the DREAM Act, which provides a path to citizenship for some illegal immigrants – mainly college students and soldiers.
Rubio, who frets that the DREAM Act gives too much “amnesty” to a broader class of immigrants, and other Republicans have accused Democrats of playing rank ethnic politics.
So when Gingrich’s radio spot described Romney as “the most anti-immigrant candidate,” Rubio and others felt he not only crossed the line – he was adopting liberal criticisms.
  • Pay Attention!

    From my email today:

Well here you go folks.. Thank you Mr. President!!!

It is time to clean the Congressional House and the Presidency for the sake of our Children and Grandchildren. We need some honest people in politics who are able to read any bill that jeopardizes the public like this one that you are about to read!!!

If you own a home, please read this!

THIS WILL BLOW YOU AWAY !!!!!

The National Association of REALTORS is all over this and working to get it repealed, before it takes effect. But, I am very pleased we aren't the only ones who know about this ploy to steal billions from unsuspecting homeowners. How many REALTORS do you think will vote Democratic in 2012?

Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it? That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home, etc. When did this happen? It's in the health care bill and goes into effect in 2013.

Why 2013? Could it be to come to light AFTER the 2012 elections? So, this is "change you can believe in"? Under the new health care bill all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax.

If you sell a $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax.

This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes. Does this make your November and 2012 vote more important?

Oh, you weren't aware this was in the Obamacare bill? Guess what, you aren't alone. There are more than a few members of Congress that aren't aware of it either

I hope you forward this to every single person in your address book. VOTERS NEED TO KNOW.

Do not argue with an idiot, sometimes people watching cannot tell the difference

  • Can'tWait for My Radio Show? Tune in now!

Hey Everybody! Sorry for the sparse postings in the past couple of weeks, but I have been a tinybit busy trying to jump back into the radio game.

Coming up at 5:03 a.m. (or o'dark hundred)... why the liberals have their panties in a twist over Barack Obama. Hint: BO's BFF Kamala Harris (Ca. Attorney General) is STEAMED.

Plus...The pinko and sequined crowd got all glammed up for a Occupy Wells Fargo move...busting a few dance moves inside of the downtown San Francisco location.

As for that polling - read all about the newest numbers in the see-saw contest on the GOP side here.

Melanie Morgan returned to KSFO on Tuesday

Melanie Morgan returned to KSFOon Tuesday, January 3, as part of the Brian Sussman Morning Show.    Morgan is a nationally known political pundit and talk show host who may be best-known for being the “Mother of the Recall” for launching the recall effort to unseat California Governor Gray Davis.  The recall resulted in Arnold Schwarzenegger becoming governor.

Morgan had often appeared on ABC's Politically Correct show with Bill Maher.  A sample is on the left.  Morgan is introduced at 3:00.

For almost 15 years, Morgan was co-host of the highly-rated Lee Rodgers and Melanie Morgan show on KSFO.    She was let go by the station in 2008.

Morgan was hired to co-host the nationally syndicated America's Morning News in June 2009 but resigned in January 2010 for health reasons.

Morgan’s latest project was to help start the nonprofit called the “International Cold Case Investigators Association,” designed to bring justice to cold cases and to help track down killers who have escaped justice.

In a press release statement, Morgan said, “In 1994, KSFO flipped the switch and became THE conservative voice for the Bay Area.  I had some amazing opportunities during the early days, from the Recall of Gray Davis, banning the cancer-causing MTBE gasoline additive mandate, and fighting liberalism in the streets of Berkeley . The best work we accomplished together was supporting our United States military men and women in the War Against Terror, and by sending over 300 tons of care packages to our troops overseas, God Bless each and every service member.    I am psyched to have a second chance to re-connect with old friends and make new ones as part of the Brian Sussman and Melanie Morgan show.”

KSFO and KGO News and Program Director Paul Hosley stated "We're thrilled to have Melanie back on KSFO.  She's very popular with listeners, and we're looking forward to her many contributions on the revamped morning show."

KSFO and KGO are owned by the media giant Cumulus Media.   The corporation caused an uproar a little over a month ago when it changed KGO’s format from mostly talk with some news to mostly news with talk.   The station hopes to win over some of the listeners to the top-rated KCBS radio.

Cumulus fired longtime KGO talk show hosts Gene Burns, Ray Taliferro, Gil Gross, Bill Wattenburg, Len Tillem, and Joanie Greggains.    Ronn Owens, who has a long-term contract, was kept on to host in his usual 9 a.m. to noon time slot.  Weekend hosts Karel,  Brian Copeland, and Pat Thurston were also kept on.

Cumulous owns or operates more than 570 radio stations in 120 markets and a nationwide radio network serving over 4000 stations.   Cumulus is headquartered in Atlanta.

The Rush Limbaugh show had followed Brian Sussman’s show but as of Tuesday, January 3, Limbaugh’s new home in the San Francisco Bay Area is KKSF Newstalk 910 AM (formerly KNEW).   Former Arizona Congressman JD Hayworth now hosts a show on KSFO on the old 9 a.m.- Noon time slot.   It is a local show directed toward the Bay Area audience.   The conservative Hayworth will compete with the moderate Ronn Owens.
  • Coming Home (Again)

Here we are in 2012. Barack Hussein Obama will meet his fate during the presidential election, and I am back on KSFO with my good friend Brian Sussman. Coincidence? I think not.

The Sussman, our KSFO crew and I plan big things for 2012, and we can’t do them without you, our loyal listeners. Important safety tip for Obama: Read up on the recall of ex-Gov. Gray Davis, a liberal man in a state that has suffered many love affairs with liberal politicians.

Let’s remind ourselves why we will work our derrieres off to defeat Obama this year. We know, dear listeners, that you are well-educated and you stay on top of the politics of destruction and the monsters - who usually sport a big-D after their names -who unleash their socialist plans on us.

Are you better off today than you were three years ago? If you answered yes, then you are probably an owner of Solyndra, the now bankrupt solar company that was quite cozy with the corrupt Obama. For review: Obama visited the solar company in a media blitz and touted it as a success. A short time later, Solyndra – which had raised more than $1 billion from investors and got a half-billion dollar loan guarantee from the Obama Administration – laid off 1,100 workers. (And we wonder why California’s unemployment rate has skyrocketed under Obama. Yet his cronies and he are getting richer).

This will not shock our brilliant listeners, but the entire Solyndra debacle (paid for with TAXPAYERS money) was driven by Obama’s politics, according to an investigation by the liberal Washington Post.

“Meant to create jobs and cut reliance on foreign oil, Obama’s green-technology program was infused with politics at every level, The Washington Post found in an analysis of thousands of memos, company records and internal e-mails,” according to the Washington Post.

It’s the Chicago way, baby. So step aside or, as we will do at KSFO, stand RIGHT IN THEIR WAY!!!!!

The Solyndra boondoggle is just one teensy fraction of the damage the Obama regime has inflicted on America.

How do you like this news?:  A Washington based watch dog organization  has named its Top 10 Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians for 2011. Obama and his attorney general (Mr. Hand-over high-powered-guns-to-Mexican-Mafia Man Eric Holder) made the list.

But then we knew Obama was corrupt before the sheeple elected him in 2008. Now the liar-in-chief will have to whip up some fabulous tales to woo his progressive wing, which is a bit perturbed that he continued the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, employed drones to slaughter folks in Pakistan, and failed to close Gitmo.

To the lefties: how’s that hope and change working for ya?

Another major group who needs to rethink their vote is the African-American voting bloc. While unemployment in the U.S. hangs around 9 percent, the unemployed ranks of African-American workers are around 16 percent. These are Depression Era numbers. People are losing their jobs, their homes, their cars and their dignity.

Obama’s domestic and foreign policies are breaking this country. He flat-out told our enemies when we were pulling out of Iraq. So the terrorists waited and unleashed a rash of bombings that killed 72 people within days of the U.S. pullout. All of this was predicted by intelligence that Obama ignored because of his upcoming campaign. (The lamestream media won’t report the truth on Obama because they are still drinking the Kool-Aid)

Iran is close to having a nuclear bomb and threatening to close the straits of Hormuz, North Korea is unstable (more than usual), Israel doesn’t trust us, and Iraq is slipping back to sectarian violence.

At home, I don’t have to tell you about the misery index. Obama is working hard to replace Jimmy Carter as the worst president in modern history.

But help is on the way!!! Sussman, you and I are going to push hard for real change and real hope and real Constitutional government. I am so ready to work with all of you again. We have made major change before. We know how to do it. My naturally blonde roots are dyed, my nails are sharp, my brain is sharper and I’m sitting next to Sussman! Let’s get ‘er done!

    Happy New Year!!!

    I mean, a REALLY, REALLY HAPPY 2012!!!!

  • Hawkeye Cawki About to Begin

...final polling before the caucuses from Des Moines(or Dez Moynease for Easterns unfamiliar with flyover country) is out and shows that voters are getting more comfortable with Mitt Romney, even as social conversatives begin a fliratation with Rick Santorum.

© 2012, Des Moines Register & Tribune Co.

The Des Moines Register’s latest Iowa Poll shows a surprise three-way match-up in contention to win the Iowa Republican caucuses: Mitt Romney, Ron Paul and Rick Santorum.

Santorum, who has been largely invisible in the polls throughout the campaign season, is now beating the other evangelical choices and has a clear shot at victory Tuesday night.

But political analysts note there’s little time for Santorum to cash in and regroup before New Hampshire, where voters weigh in nine days from now, while Romney is positioned to replicate what he’s done in Iowa in all the early states.

  • Minkey Business

Chief Inspector Clouseau here. The Minkey has been found!

SAN FRANCISCO -- A beloved squirrel monkey known as Banana Sam was returned scared but safe to the San Francisco Zoo on Saturday night, two days after he was taken.

Banana Sam was "hungry, trembling and thirsty," after police returned him to the zoo, but a full physical examination showed he was healthy, zoo spokesman Danny Latham said in a statement.

The 17-year-old monkey was found at Stern Grove, a park about a mile from the zoo, police spokesman Carlos Manfredi said.
