The 'Bonnie and Clyde' of 60's Radicalism Given a Pass on 'The O'Reilly Factor' PDF E-mail

SHOCKING AUDIO TAPES OF RADICAL BOMBER BILL AYERS AND CONNECTIONS TO SENATOR BARACK OBAMA.

Bill O'Reilly and I discussed the connections of  University of Illinois at Chicago Professor Bill Ayers (former Weather Underground founder) and the Obama campaign.

O'Reilly was inclined to give Obama a pass on his financial/personal connections to Ayers, who alongwith his wife Bernadine Dohrn, was responsible for bombing at least a dozen places during the 1960's during their Vietnam era protests.

Ayers never served a day in jail, nor did his wife, for those assaults on America (Dohrn served about a year and a half  on unrelated charges.)

BTW, Dohrn has crazier than her husband --she embraced Charles Manson's slaughter of innocent people (Sharon Tate, Abigail Folger, the LaBianca's and others) during Manson's killing spree.

However, the Weather Underground did manage to blow up three of their comrades with a bomb designed to kill Army officers at Fort Dix.

I vehemently disagreed that O'Reilly should give Obama a pass on this part of his personal history.

Ayers and Dohrn are hereafter referred to as "Bonnie and Clyde" of the sixties radicalized anti-war movement. Today, they would be called 'Domestic Terrorists."

Let's review the bidding, shall we?

Barack Obama & William Ayres
  • According to Politico.com, in 1995, Barack Obama visited the home of William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, known as members of the 60’s and 70’s anti-war radical group “Weather Underground”. Ayers took responsibility for 12 bombings including the NYC Police HQ in 1970, the Capitol building in 1971, and the Pentagon in 1972. He was never convicted of any crime.

  • Ayers told the New York Times on September 11, 2001, "I don't regret setting bombs...I feel we didn't do enough." According to Dr. Quentin Young, Illinois State Senator Alice Palmer introduced Barack Obama at Ayers’ home in 1995 as her chosen successor. Ayers, who was known as the “Weatherman” during his time with the radical group is now a professor at the University of Illinois-Chicago. (Politico)

  • According to Politico, Obama’s campaign manager David Axelrod said the following when asked about the relationship between Ayers and Obama: "Bill Ayers lives in his neighborhood. Their kids attend the same school," he said. "They're certainly friendly; they know each other, as anyone whose kids go to school together." According to Ben Smith of Politico, there's been a bit of confusion about Axelrod's line on the kids, who aren't the same age. Obama's kids go to the University of Chicago Lab Schools, where Ayers kids, who are much older, had gone. However, Bernardine Dohrn is still active at the school, and an Obama aide said that was the connection.  Ayers has also served on the board of directors of the Woods Fund of Chicago, an anti-poverty, philanthropic foundation since 1999. Ayers served on the board with Senator Barack Obama from 1999 to 2002

  • Obama’s Response to the connection: "The notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values doesn't make much sense," said Obama at the Philly debate.

That is a ridiculous argument, and everyone knows it.

Ayers and Dohrn were infamous in Chicago and across America for their views, which continue to this day.

They have never disassociated themselves from their past, and Ayers continues to preach a virulent strain of anti-Americanism from his lofty academic perch at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Furthermore, Ayers is caught on tape doing it.

Powerline.com has posted his shocking statements that are going to catch up with Obama, one way or another.
