The best advice I can give is to run an actual conservative in party elections, people who can speak intelligently and passionately about conservative ideals of limited government, lower taxes and national security. An excellent start in that direction is today's announcement that Chuck DeVore of Southern California, a conservative Assemblyman, is going up against "bouncing" Babs Boxer (bouncing as in her involvement in a Congressional check-kiting scheme in the 90's.)
