I GOT A CELLPHONE CALL THIS AFTERNOON FROM JOE WIERZBICKI, OUR SENIOR STRATEGIST FOR MOVE AMERICA FORWARD THIS AFTERNOON. HE SAYS WE CAN TURN OUT HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS MORE IN CROWD TURN-OUT IN OUR 'FIGHT FOR VICTORY TOUR' IF WE CAN MAKE SOME RADIO BUYS IN ADVANCE OF OUR CARAVAN.
Here's the e-mail I'm sending out to every single person I know or hope to know on the planet!
Move America Forward, the largest pro-troop organization in the country, left Carson City, Nevada on September 3rd and has been travelling across the country to rally our PATRIOTIC spirit in anticipation of the surge report delivered today by General David Petraeus. The report is now public. The reaction is typical from liberal democrats like Congressman Wexler of Florida who called into question the FACTS by General Petraeus –we are winning on the ground-- America soldiers, sailors, marines and coast guardsmen have disrupted Shi’ia extremists, and most importantly –Al Qaida in Iraq is on the run.
Our "Fight For Victory" tour is in Des Moines, Iowa today--our trip coordinator held up the cellphone for me to listen while an honor guard played bagpipes and the sun emerged from behind the clouds just as Diana Nagy, our tour volunteer singer began a powerful rendition of "America the Beautiful". The local ABC TV affiliate broadcast the event LIVE. We are generating millions of dollars in free publicity for our cause -- VICTORY.
We are beginning our final stretch to the East Coast, ending in Washington, D.C. for a rally with other organizations like Gathering of Eagles , Eagles Up , Vets For Freedom , Rolling Thunder and Military Order of the Purple Heart . We are expecting to turn out over 30,000 patriots!
We are looking for immediate help to buy some radio advertisements in the final five locations to announce our arrival, in order to build huge crowds for better television coverage that will make the MoveOn.org crowd dive for cover.
We keep hearing from people who have attended our rallies that they wish they had known about us sooner, because they would have brought hundreds, thousands more. That's why we want to buy some radio ad's in our final days of the tour. We are hoping to raise $25,000, but even $10,000 would go a long way.
